The Battle of the Time

See the nibblers in their way,
How they laugh and play all day,
See the gnawers come attacking.

Watch the nibblers go resisting,
Hear the rapping and the scratching,
And please don’t forget the clicking.

The princess will see the flaw,
In the code of the claw,
For she can’t avoid the matching,

None of the gnawers knew about this,
The code of the claw has become,
Their own downfall,

None has come through out the times
Will the peacemaker come at this time?

  1. this is a nice poem you are very unique

  2. The second stanza is excellent –

    Watch the nibblers go resisting,
Hear the rapping and the scratching,
And please don’t forget the clicking.

The rhyme is playful while the message in the stanza is a little scary…

    Great!

    • Thanks a lot, this poem is my response on reading this last book of the series. Its very enjoyable too, I suggest on trying the series out starting with the first book: Gregor the Overlander.
